Throughout the nation, a relentless navy marketing campaign focusing on Ukraine’s cities marked the start of a battle that might see the world’s fastest-growing refugee disaster since World Conflict II.
Hundreds of thousands have since fled Ukraine, taking little greater than the garments on their backs and a bag or two. Most are girls and youngsters, as males aged between 18 and 60 have been instructed to stay and battle.
